You Can Pick Up a Refurbished Kindle Paperwhite for $115 During Amazon’s Early Presidents Day Sale

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Presidents' Day sales are around the corner, and the deals are coming in early; right now, Amazon has the latest Kindle Paperwhite from 2024 in "Like-New" conditions for $114.99 (originally $143.99). This Paperwhite in new condition would cost you $159.99, making the refurbished version a much cheaper choice to get while it lasts (discounted Kindle Paperwhites usually sell out quickly).

The Kindle Paperwhite is the most popular reading tablet from Amazon, and it's the best for most people, according to PCMag's "outstanding" review. It offers many improvements over the 11th-generation version from 2021β€”mainly a larger seven-inch display and a much faster boost in performance. It still retains all of the great attributes that made the previous version great, like a fully waterproof design with an IPX8 rating, enough storage to hold more than 10,000 books, and unlimited cloud storage. If you want an ad-free experience with some better features, get the Signature Edition.

If you're not sure if this is the right Kindle for you, check out the Colorsoft versionβ€”it offers color, so it can make reading manga or comics more lively. We also have a breakdown of every kind of Kindle to help you decide. If you already own the 11th generation, there might not be enough here to warrant an upgrade, unless you just want the latest Amazon has to offer. However, any devices older than that may be worth an upgrade for features like Bluetooth compatibility, which is great for audiobooks.

The screen features a 300 ppi (pixels per inch) display with 16 levels of background lighting, and optional warm lighting as well. I use this feature to read before bed and not strain my eyes. I also love the absurdly long battery life. This one is estimated at up to 12 weeks on a single charge, depending on your use and brightness settings.

The Apple Watch Series 11 is $100 off

The Apple Watch Series 11 is the latest Apple Watch and it improves on the Series 10 in many ways. It has a longer battery life and tiny tweaks that make a big difference, like a brighter screen, greater durability, and new software features. Right now, the Apple Watch Series 11 (GPS 42mm) is down 25% to $299 (originally $399).

The Beats Studio Pro headphones are 51% off

Beats headphones are well-known for their style and seamless compatibility with Apple devices. Right now, the brand's flagship headphones with 40 hours of battery life, the Beats Studio Pro, are on sale for $169.95 (originally $349.99), the second-lowest price they have been. Every color is included in the sale.

My favorite Shark vacuum is 40% off

I've been loving the Shark Pet Cordless Vacuum for the past few months and have cleaned my rugs to a degree that none of my old vacuums were able to manage. It works for floors as well, and I've been using the light with the lights off to easily see any dirt on my floor. Get it for $179.99 (originally $299.99).

A 57-inch curved Samsung gaming monitor for $800 off

The 57-inch Samsung Odyssey Neo G9, one of the best ultra-wide gaming monitors on the market, is currently on sale for $1,499.99 (originally $2,499.99 at launch). This monitor came out in 2023 with an "excellent" review from PCMag, mainly due to its impressive 7,680 by 2,160 4K native resolution, the ridiculous 57-inch screen size, its great color range and accuracy, the 240Hz refresh rate, and its design.

The Sonos Beam Gen 2 soundbar is $140 off

The Sonos Beam Gen 2 is one of the best soundbars you can buy today, especially if you're short on space. This compact soundbar doesn't skimp on premium features, and it's currently down to $369 (originally $499), a near-record low. This is the soundbar I'd choose if I were looking for a powerful option that wouldn't take up a ton of space in my living room.

The Amazon Echo Show 11 gets its first $40 discount

Amazon released the Amazon Echo Show 11 last year to replace the 3rd Generation Echo Show 10. The upgraded home hub and smart speaker hybrid features a larger, sharper display; a separate static screen, Alexa+ capabilities, and other updates, and right now, it's at its lowest price since launch. You can get it for $179.99, down $40 from the usual price, and its lowest price ever.

The SHOKZ OpenRun bone conduction headphones are $90

The original OpenRun headphones are great for their current discounted price of $89.94 (originally $129.95); that's the lowest price they've been. You won't get the same thumpy bass you'd get from regular headphones, but they're still great, and the bone conduction technology adds a fun layer of novelty.

The Bose Ultra Open earbuds are $100 off

The Bose Ultra Open earbuds cater to people who prefer awareness over isolation. Think cyclists, runners, or anyone who doesn’t want to miss the honk of a car while listening to music. Instead of sealing you off from the world, they sit outside your ears, letting in ambient sound while still delivering rich, detailed audio. Priced at $199 (down from its original $299), this is their lowest price yet.

This Ultra-Wide Samsung Gaming Monitor Is $800 Off During an Early Presidents Day Sale

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

An ultra-wide curved gaming monitor with ridiculous specs is every gamer's dream, but they (usually) don't come cheap. The 57-inch Samsung Odyssey Neo G9, one of the best ultra-wide gaming monitors on the market, is currently on sale for $1,499.99 (originally $2,499.99 at launch)β€”that's its best discount this year, according to price-checking tools.

The Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 Series is not a regular ultra-wide gaming monitor. It has impressive specs, but you'll need a top-notch gaming computer with specific outputs to take full advantage of its 240Hz refresh rate potential.

This monitor came out in 2023 with an "excellent" review from PCMag, mainly due to its impressive 7,680 by 2,160 4K native resolution, the ridiculous 57-inch screen size, its great color range and accuracy, the 240Hz refresh rate, and its design. The VA panel also means you get a bright 1,000-nit screen.

To make full use of its powerful 240Hz refresh rate, you'll need to use a DisplayPort 2.1, or you'll be limited to 120Hz. You'll also need a powerful modern graphics card that is able to push the frames at a native resolution to max out the monitor's potential.

Although it is pricey, this monitor is a great value for the right gamer. You'll need plenty of space to fit a 57-inch screen, as well as a powerful computer to justify using the monitorβ€”if you're not a competitive gamer with a powerful computer, it's probably not worth the price tag. Instead, consider this Asus gaming monitor going for $337.99 (originally $499) right now.

My Favorite Smart Lock Bundle I Use at My Own Home Is Down to $93 During This Early Presidents Day Sale

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

A good smart lock is an extremely important purchase, personally, for security, reliability, and practical reasons. I've gone through my fair share of smart locks, but none have been more reliable, affordable, and easy to install than the SwitchBot WiFi Smart Lock Pro. Right now, you can get the bundle that has everything you need (it comes with the smart lock, keypad, and hub to control it remotely) for just $92.99 (originally $199.99 at launch) during an early Presidents Day sale. Don't let the $99.99 list price on Amazon full you, this is a $107 discount that doesn't happen very often, according to price-tracking tools (and the Switchbot website).

The main reason I love this smart lock is its reliability. A smart lock's most important job is to open and close reliably, whether that's physically with a key, with your finger, code, or remotely through the app. That seems like a pretty basic requirement, but you'd be surprised how few smart locks nail itβ€”the SwitchBot has been the only smart lock to not fail me in the years I've been using it so far.

The installation was also the easiest of any smart lock I've installed. You only need to remove the lock faceplate from inside and use an L-shaped hex wrench that comes in the box to mount the smart lock. It took me seven minutes to finish. There's also an option to glue the hardware for a complete tool-free option. It's also subscription-free.

The smart lock also retrofits most locks, and since the installation is so easy, that makes it perfect for renters, too. Some nice features are the auto-lock (I love not having to close the door behind me), a status detector that notifies or alerts you of activity, and being able to send permanent or temporary codes to family or guests. It also works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and IFTTT. The battery lasts up to nine months, according to SwitchBot, but it'll depend on use (that was accurate for mine).

This Budget-Friendly Asus Gaming Monitor Is 25% Off Right Now

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Gaming monitors with 4K ultra HD and high refresh rates have historically been quite expensive, but the Asus ROG Strix XG27UCS challenged that notion, bringing competitive specs at a more budget-friendly price. Right now, the Asus ROG Strix XG27UCS is $337.99 (originally launched at $499) after a 25% discount. This is the lowest price it has ever been, according to price tracking tools.

The ROG Strix XG27UCS is a 27-inch gaming monitor that was launched in March of 2024. To get it down to its lower price (when compared to other gaming monitors) ASUS made cuts to RGB technology and a USB hub, which more premium gaming monitors will usually have. It still has the 160Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, and 4K resolution you'd expect, though.

Because this is an IPS panel monitor, you won't get the true black that OLEDs offer. The contrast ratio for this monitor is close to 922:1, according to IGN's review, so black hues might look closer to dark gray. You can calibrate the settings to match specific games or genresβ€”and a nice touch is that it allows you to save profiles with customized settings so you can easily switch between them if you jump from one game to another.

The stand's height, tilt, swivel, and pivot are all adjustable. You can also change the view from landscape to portrait, making it useful to people who also want to use it for work. One other feature that makes it work-friendly is a USB-C port that supports Display Port, meaning it's the only cable you'll need to hook up your laptop for video, audio, and charging (most laptops have this feature now). It also has a tray for a small device on the stand where you can prop your phone and a headphone jack for wired headphones or external speakers.

Don't Buy a Power Station During an Emergency, Buy One When It's Half Off (Like Right Now)

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Like most of the eastern United States this winter, I experienced some rough snowstorms with ice rain. Now that I've seen what can happen during any winter, I wasted no time getting myself a power station. This is a great time to get yourself one, since the Anker SOLIX C1000 Portable Power Station is 50% off right now, going for $397 (originally $799). This is the lowest price it has been, according to price-tracking tools.

Many people in my city had to endure below-freezing temperatures without power. Luckily for me, our power didn't go out, but I still had to prepare for the worst. I decided to finally dive into the world of power stations, and I was surprised to learn that some of these power stations can power refrigerators. The Anker SOLIX C1000 can power a fridge for around 32 hours, depending on the size. That can be the difference between losing all of your food in the fridge during a power outage or being able to feed your household during the outage.

Anker's power stations are some of the best in the market. Like most top-tier power stations, they have accessories like solar panels or extra batteries that you can buy separately if you ever feel the need to have a longer or more sustainable option in the future. It also has an excellent app that tracks how your energy is being used and lets you customize the battery output. As Mashable's review points out, it's also a versatile tool that you can take on camping trips to power TVs, cooking materials, phones, etc.

The peace of mind of having a power station at home by itself is worth the price to me. If you've been considering one, get it now while it's 50% off, not when the next storm is on the horizon.

The 'Batman: Arkham Shadow' Meta Quest 3S Bundle Is on Sale

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Meta has made virtual reality (VR) accessible to many more people, offering good VR headsets for much cheaper than the competition. Right now, the 128GB Meta Quest 3S Batman: Arkham Shadow Bundle is on sale for $249 (originally $299.99), the lowest price it has been, according to price-tracking tools. You can double the storage for $375.91 (originally $399.99); that version has dropped to $350 in the past. The bundle includes the Batman game (with a list price of $49.99) and a three-month trial subscription to Meta Horizon+ that's normally $7.99 a month.

It's true, the Meta Quest 3 has better graphics, but it costs substantially more (currently $499.99) than the 3S version. Lifehacker staff writer Stephen Johnson tested both VR headsets to decide which of the two is better, and the Meta Quest 3S was his winnerβ€”you can read a more in-depth review of the Quest 3S here. There just isn't enough of a difference between the two models to justify the additional cost, with the Quest 3S's graphics looking very close to the 3 and running the same games and apps.

The Meta Quest 3S has a Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 processor, 8GB of RAM, a display resolution of 1,832 by 1,920 (per eye), and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Once you put them on, the horizontal field of view is 96 degrees, and the vertical view is 90 degrees. The audio is stereo, which is nice, and the speakers are compatible with 3D spatial audio. When it comes to battery life, expect up to two and a half hours of juice before having to recharge (expect it to take about two hours for a full charge). I've recently got the headset and have to say I've never experienced something so immersive (it was my first time using a VR headset). If you've been curious about the experience, this is the best time to get your hands on one.

The AirPods Pro 2 Are $100 Off Right Now

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Since the AirPods Pro 3 were released in September, I've been anticipating big price drops on the second-generation buds, and that price drop is now here: Woot is selling AirPods Pro 2 for $139.99, down from the previous price of $249.99. This is the lowest price they have ever been, according to price tracking tools.

This model, which came out in September 2023, is the first to feature charging via USB-C. They also came out with a few features that older models didn't have, like adaptive transparency. You can expect solid battery life, with Apple claiming up to 30 hours of listening time on a single charge.

The AirPods Pro offer excellent noise cancellation, plus their silicone tips provide a good seal that will naturally block a lot of background noise without any help from the ANC. Transparency Mode lets you have a conversation with someone while your audio is still playing, and Conversation Awareness will automatically lower the volume of your media and boost the voices of the people you're talking to. The Adaptive Audio feature is also pretty cool: It reduces any loud sounds to a tolerable 85 dB, so sudden loud noises in your media don't startle or distract you.

All of that to say: While they don't have all the bells and whistles of the AirPods Pro 3 (better ANC, built-in heart rate sensor, an extra two hours of use between charges, slightly better water resistance, and a second-generation Ultra Wideband chip in the charging case), these earbuds still offer many features that make them a great option in 2026β€”especially at their current discount.

The Bose Ultra Open Earbuds Are $100 Off Right Now

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Open-ear design earbuds have been getting popular, likely because active noise-cancelling tech has gotten so good that people have forgotten what nature sounds like. The Ultra Open Earbuds are Bose's attempt at the trending tech, and they're pretty good. But at their current price of $199.99 (originally $299.99), they are also a steal. This is the lowest price they've ever been, according to price-tracking tools, and they are available in seven different colors.Β

Open-ear designs are not for everyoneβ€”especially audiophiles. They have the same downside as bone conduction headphones: They let noise pollution in, and the bass and some mids are weak. But you can hear if a cyclist is about to pass you as you're running on the bike path.

The Bose Ultra Open are not waterproof, but they are water-resistant with an IPX4 rating, meaning they can take some splashes, but don't submerge them in water. There is a wireless charging case you can get separately if you don't want to use the USB-C connection to charge it. You'll get about 7.5 hours of juice if you have the Immersive Audio feature off, and about two charges with the case for a total of around 27 hours.

While these earbuds don't have multipoint connection, they do have a feature to pair two devices simultaneously and switch between them by pressing a button on the earbudβ€”a controlled multipoint connection of sorts. They are compatible with Bluetooth 5.3 and work with the AAC, AptX Adaptive, and SBC codecs, so Android devices will get better audio than Apple users. Both users will be able to customize the EQ on the app and use features that you can read more about in CNET's review.

These Bone Conduction Headphones Are Great for Outdoor Runs, and They're Just $90 Right Now

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Bone conduction headphones are ideal for activities where it is vital to your safety to hear your surroundings, such as when you're running outdoors near a busy road. That's because they use a technology that sends audio vibrations through your skull to the inner ear while leaving your ear canals open. Shokz is one of the best brandsβ€”if not the best brandβ€”making bone conduction headphones right now. At the high end of Shokz's offerings are the OpenRun Pro 2 headphonesβ€”but the original OpenRun headphones are also great, and they're currently discounted to $89.94 (originally $129.95); that's the lowest price they've been, according to price-tracking tools.

If you've never used bone conduction headphones, they're worth a try, and the Shokz Open are a great budget-friendly introduction. The major downside of the way they work has been that the bass doesn't sound as good as their in-ear counterparts: You won't get the same thumpy bass you'd get from regular headphones, but they're still great, and the bone conduction technology adds a fun layer of novelty.

As the name implies, these are meant to be used on runs outdoors. They have a water- and dust-proof IP67 rating, are lightweight and comfortable, and, because of their design, can be worn with bicycle helmets and sunglasses. They use Bluetooth 5.1 and have an eight-hour battery life, which isn't the best, but it'll do for everyday exercise.

You can use these around the house, too, since they can take calls; just be mindful that they don't block any sound. If you plan to use these in a location with loud music or a lot of ambient noise, it might be hard to isolate the sound coming through the headphones.

I Love My TCL QLED TV, and You Can Get This Massive 98-Inch One for $800 Off Right Now

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

If you ask me, TCL makes some of the best QLED TVs money can buy. While there are plenty of differences between QLEDs and the pricier OLEDs, they can be tough to spot without a trained eye, which means for most people, the cost savings will be worth itβ€”especially when the QLED TV in question is an additional $800 off..

If you're looking to buy a massive TV without going bankrupt, consider TCL's QM6K QLED, which is currently going for $1,499.99 at Amazon for the 98-inch model, marked down from the original$2,299.99 list price. This is the lowest price it has reached, according to price-tracking tools. While I don't own this gigantic set myself, I've been enjoying a 65-inch QM6K for almost a year, and I am still impressed by how good it looks, especially given the price.

TCL's QM lineup offers good value regardless of the size. The QM6K has 500 local dimming zones (according to CNET's 8.6/10 review) plus a mini LED panel for improved contrast. While the picture is customizable, color accuracy for HDR content is surprisingly good out of the box, which is great for people who don't like to mess with settings.

With the QM6K you also get a 144Hz native refresh rate; HDR formats like HDR ULTRA with Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, HDR10, and HLG; Dolby Atmos Audio; an anti-glare screen; four HDMI Inputs (one of which is an eARC); and the Google TV Smart OS (my favorite OS) with Chromecast built in, meaning you can easily cast from your phone to the TV. You also get Apple AirPlay 2 and Alexa built in, as noted in ZDNet's review.

If you're a gamer, there's more to like in the QM6K, as stated in IGN's 9/10 review. The Game Bar feature lets you adjust settings on the fly; there's also a VRR accelerator that doubles the refresh rate to a perceived 288Hz; and it also has AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, so you can experience smooth gameplay on a PC or console. It's truly a lot on offer when it comes to an "entry-level" QLED TV.

This QLED TV Was Already Affordable, and Now It's an Extra $450 Off

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

TCL makes incredible budget QLED TVs. I've been using TCL's QM6K since its release last year, and I frequently recommend it to anyone looking for a QLED TV for a great price. Right now, Best Buy has the 65-inch TCL QM5K (a slightly less expensive model than the one I have) for $449.99 (originally $899.99) after a 50% discount.

The QM5K is an exclusive model made for Best Buy that's nearly identical to the QM6K, but it has fewer gaming-centric features. The QM5K caps at a refresh rate of 60Hz at the native 4K resolutionβ€”it's still great for casual gamers, but hardcore players who want top-of-the-line specs might want shell out $80 for the next model up. opt for the QM6K.

This TV supports Dolby Vision HDR and HDR10+, making streaming movies or shows with HDR formats look great. The blacks on the TV are deep because of the Mini LED technology, giving it a picture quality that belies its low price. It's also very bright in SDR, making it great to watch broadcast TV. If you're going to watch HDR for movies and shows, the brightness might not be as strong.

These Sony Over-Ear Headphones Come in Three Colors and Are Under $100 Right Now

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Not everybody needs, wants, or can afford the "best" headphones available, especially when they can easily cost half a grand. If the Sony XM6, which I called the best over-ear headphones of 2025 (and 2026 so far), are not in your budget, then perhaps the more affordable Sony WH-CH720N could be. While they're not quite as premium, they're significantly cheaper and offer good enough quality for most people. You can get them for $97 (originally $179.99) on Amazon right now.

These are Sony's entry-level over-ear headphones, and Sony mostly made cuts in the design and build. When you hold them, they might feel hollow and light, but they're still comfortable since the earcups are well-cushioned, according to CNET's review. However, Sony did not make a lot of sacrifices in the audio or ANC department, which, at the end of the day, is what's most important.

While they've dropped below $100 before, all three colorways have not been available at their current price at the same timeβ€”until now. These headphones use the same Sony Sound Connect app as the flagship models and share some of the same features, like multipoint technology to connect to up to two devices. They also come with Google Fast Pair and Find My Device support, nice features to have for convenience, and if you misplace them. You can get 35 hours of battery life with ANC on and 50 hours with ANC off, and the charging is quick, with three minutes giving you three hours of juice.

The ANC is not as good as the latest XM6, but it works great for under $100, according to Mashable's review and they'll block most ambient noise outdoors or indoors. Transparency mode is also great, allowing you to have conversations and hear bikes or cars passing by. The adjustable EQ in the app means you can tweak the crisp and vibrant sound of the WH-CH720N to your liking.

The Best Budget ANC Earbuds Just Got Even Cheaper

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

There's a certain level of performance you expect from active noise-cancelling earbuds (ANC) or headphonesβ€”even if they are "budget" priced. If you're looking for a great pair of ANC earbuds for a price that won't make you cry if you lose them, consider the Anker Space A40, currently $44.98 (originally $99.99 at launch). I've been using these earbuds for over a year and cannot recommend them enough for the price.

The Soundcore by Anker Space A40 gives you as many features and even better ANC than some higher-end pairs for a budget-friendly price tag. I've had my pair for over a year now, and I can compare the ANC performance to some high-end earbuds I've sampled. For the price, the ANC is surprisingly good and also rivals earbuds that go over the $200 price mark. The earbuds have microphones that pick up the sound around you to adjust the ANC accordingly. You can read the full review from PCMag here if you want to go more in-depth about its features.

Another impressive quality about these earbuds is their long battery life, with 10 hours of playtime and an additional 50 hours from the charging case. The Soundcore app lets you customize your EQ controls to your liking, but the default audio setting right from the box is already great, so there's no need to adjust it unless you want to. The earbuds fit well and don't come out easily, which is a must for any ANC. It is water-resistant with an IPX4 rating.

The main place where these earbuds fall short is the audio if you're an Apple user because it relies on the AAC codec. But for the price, the Anker Space A40 does a great job at everything else and is my favorite ANC earbud under $100 dollars.

This Nothing Smartwatch With Built-In ChatGPT Is on Sale for $45 Right Now

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

You've probably heard of the upstart tech brand Nothing, but if you haven't, here's a TLDR: The U.K.-based company aims to make products like cellphones and headphones that incorporate innovative features and designs, but come in at a lower price point than tech giants like Apple and Samsung. Last summer, the company released its newest smartwatch, the CMF Watch 3 Pro, which incorporates AI features powered by ChatGPT, and you can currently pick it up at a major discount.

Originally $99, you can get the CMF Watch 3 Pro for $44.99 at Wootβ€”a 65% discount. The catch is that it's only available at that price in the light green color. If you have Amazon Prime, you get free shipping; otherwise, it’ll also cost $6 to ship.Β (Heads up, though: Woot only ships to the 48 contiguous states.)

According to Nothing, the CMF Watch 3 Pro is designed for "everyday users and casual fitness explorers," it quickly earned a reputation as one of the best budget smartwatch/fitness trackers of 2025. The most noteworthy feature is its direct ChatGPT integration: You can use voice prompts to ask the chatbot questions or set reminders, among other things. One neat feature is its ability to record voices and auto-transcribe conversations or notes (great for work meetings or class).

If you've used the CMF Watch 2 Pro, you'll already be familiar with the design, which hasn't changed much. It's still got a round display with a rotating crown on the top right, though the display is a bit biggerβ€”1.43 inches compared to the Watch 2 Pro's 1.32 inches. Nothing has also kept the auto brightness adjustment, which is determined by a built-in sensor, and dual-band GPS support with access to five satellite systems, providing greater accuracy when tracking your outdoor activities.

The real upgrades come mainly from the software: The Watch 3 Pro has over 130 sport modes, compared to 120 on the older model. The battery now lasts 13 days on a single charge, or two days longer than before. It's certainly in the running for the best sub-$100 fitness watch you can buy right now.

You Can Get a Fully Loaded Google Pixel 9 Pro for $600 Off Right Now

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

The Pixel 9 Pro is no longer the latest Pixel you can get; that's now the Pixel 10 lineup. That means you can now get Pixel 9 phones for much cheaper than ever before. Right now, the unlocked 1TB Google Pixel 9 Pro is discounted to $849 (originally $1449). That's the lowest price it has ever been on Amazon, according to price-tracking tools. For comparison, the Pixel 10 Pro with 1TB is $1,249 (originally $1,449).

The Pixel 9 Pro is the middle-of-the-pack option, sandwiched between the cheaper Pixel 9 and the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. The Pixel 9 Pro comes with 16GB of RAM, starts with 128GB of memory storage, a maximum 120 HZ refresh rate, and the Android 14 operating system. As Lifehacker's associate tech editor Michelle Ehrhardt explained in her review of the Pixel 9 Pro, the phone's hardware is the best Google has made so far, but its AI features had hiccups at the beginning. However, Google improved the AI features over time; I loved my time with the Pixel 9, especially using Gemini Live and all the AI features.

The battery life can last around 18 hours and 40 minutes, according to Michelle's review (with YouTube videos playing the entire time). The main camera has a 50MP shooter, a 48MP ultra-wide camera with a 123-degree field of view, and a 48MP telephoto camera with a 30x Super Res Zoom.

If you have the Pixel 8 Pro, you might not notice a huge upgrade in this version. However, if you're upgrading from an older version or doing a switch from a non-Pixel phone, the 9 Pro has a lot to love. One of my favorite things about Pixel phones is the ongoing support for many years. Older Pixels still get all of the updates and tons of AI features that make the phone feel fresh many years later, with the latest ones dropping last month. With the Pixel 9 Pro, you'll be getting a quality phone with software updates for quite a while (as long as seven years).

This Is What You’ll Find the Best Deals on During This Year’s Presidents Day Sales

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

It feels like the year just started, but we're already approaching the first major retail holiday of 2026, and as Lifehacker's deals writer, I'm here to tell you how to make the most of the upcoming Presidents Day sales.

Here are my tips on which products are likely to be a great buy, and which ones your better off waiting to pick up during a future sale.

When is Presidents Day 2026?

Presidents Day is a federal holiday that originally started to honor George Washington's birthday, but eventually evolved to recognize all U.S. presidents. Presidents Day falls on the third Monday of February each year, which means this year, it will take place on Feb. 16, 2026.

Presidents Day sales, then, are usually concentrated on the weekend before the holiday, which means that this year, you're likely to see the biggest discounts from Feb. 13–16β€”and I wouldn't be surprised if some retailers start their sales even earlier.

What should you buy during Presidents Day sales this year?

Presidents Day sales generally bring big discounts to items like home furnishings and mattresses, as well as major appliances like refrigerators and washing machines, and you can expect the same this year. As we're getting close to the end of winter, you'll likely also see price drops on winter gear like snow blowers, space heathers, and power generators, plus cold weather clothing like coats, as retailers try to sell down their inventory and make room for next season's items.

You'll likely see some tech deals as well, as older model TVs and laptops will see price cuts to make room for newer models (some of which likely debuted at January's CES show). If you're planning to shop in one of these categories, start paying attention to prices now, so you'll be able to spot good discounts come the holiday weekend.

What items aren't worth buying during Presidents Day sales?

Seasons come and go, and even as retailers push their winter inventory out, they will try to sell you their spring products. You should hold off on picking these items up for now, as you'll likely be paying a premium priceβ€”even items that are "marked down" are likely to see bigger price cuts later, if you can wait.

Who will be holding Presidents Day sales?

All major retailers will be having a Presidents Day sale, including Amazon, Best Buy, Target, Walmart, and others. The sales will generally be available both online and in-person (except at Amazon, of course).

Should you wait for Amazon's Big Spring Sale?Β

Presidents Day is a time-honored tradition, but in recent years, the biggest sale of the early part of the year has been Amazon's Big Spring Sale (with other retailers planning their own sales events around the same time). While we don't know the exact dates, its likely this year's will take place around the same time as last yearβ€”in mid- to late March. Is it worth waiting to shop until then? It depends on what you want to buy.

The online retailer debuted the Big Spring Sale in 2024 with many sales on many different categories, but especially on tech, so if you're eyeing a specific tech product but haven't found a great deal yet, it's worth waiting to see if it is discounted in a month or so. However, if you're shopping for winter gear, mattresses, furniture, or large appliances, you'll likely see better discounts during Presidents Day sales.

The Fast-Charging Pixel Watch 4 Is on Sale for $300

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

The new Google Pixel Watch 4 came out in the late summer of 2025, and it's already heavily discounted. You can now get the 41mm Google Pixel Watch 4 starting at $299.99, the lowest price the basic version has been, according to price-tracking tools. It now comes with a much faster charging time, satellite SOS and dual-band GPS (for the LTE version), and a new circular display design.

Senior Health Editor Beth Skwarecki got her hands on a Google Pixel Watch 4 to review and loved it. The new charging dock sits flat on a surface, and you pop the watch on it sideways, almost like a MagSafe charger. Speaking of charging, it only takes a little over 30 minutes to fully charge; a 15-minute charge takes it from 0% to 50%. It's one of the fastest charge times I've ever seen on any device. The new design has a bigger, expanded circular display running 320 pixels per inch. It also gets brighter with up to 3,000 nits of brightness.

If you get this LTE version, you'll have some nice features that the wifi version doesn't. You can send satellite SOS messages to emergency services and your emergency contacts, even if you don't have cellular service. As long as you have a clear view of the sky, you should have satellite communication. This satellite SOS feature lets you alert 911 and receive emergency services.

Most of the other features are pretty similar to the Pixel Watch 3. You get built-in Gemini for voice control, accurate sleep tracking and exercise data with Accelerometer, Heart Rate Monitor, GPS, Blood Oxygen Monitor, Temperature Sensor, Pedometer, Gyroscope, Barometer, ECG, and Light Sensor.

The Pixel Watch 4 is one of the best-looking and longest-lasting Android smartwatches in the market right now, and at its lowest price, it's a worthwhile deal.

My Favorite Beats Headphones Are More Than Half Off

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Beats headphones are well-known for their style and seamless compatibility with Apple devices. Right now, the brand's flagship headphones, the Beats Studio Pro, are on sale for $169.95 (originally $349.99), the second-lowest price they have been, according to price-tracking tools.

The Beats Studio Pro came out in 2023 with a "good" review from PCMag, praising their sculpted sound, comfort, premium accessories, and spatial audio with head tracking for an immersive experienceβ€”but the review warned that hardcore audiophiles might not be as impressed. PCMag also said you can get much better headphones for less than their $349.99 price (which is very true) that have adjustable EQ and better active noise cancelling (ANC). However, at $169.95, these headphones are a great deal, especially if you're an Apple user.

These headphones have hands-free Siri access, one-touch pairing on iOS and Android devices (through Google Fast Pair), which gives simultaneous connections with up to two devices, and a transparency mode that lets you hear your surroundings. Apple users will be able to take advantage of the AAC codecs, which work seamlessly with Apple tech to give much better audio quality. You get a quick-access menu to control the ANC and Transparency modes, and you can also use the Find My app if you misplace your headphones.

The biggest miss with the Beats Studio Pro that you would expect any premium headphones to have is adjustable EQ. However, they have plenty of EQ presets for you to choose from. The ANC is slightly above average, which is good for its current price. You can get about 40 hours of playtime at full charge with ANC and Transparency modes off, and a 10-minute charge gives you about four hours of juice.

This Space-Saving Sonos Soundbar Is $130 Off Right Now

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

If you're looking to upgrade your home theater, Amazon is having a big sale on Sonos devices right now, with almost all of its products marked down significantly. And if you ask me, the Sonos Beam Gen 2 is one of the best deals of the bunch: This space-saving soundbar doesn't skimp on premium features, and it's currently down to $369 (originally $499), a near-record low according to price-tracking tools. This is the soundbar I'd choose if I were looking for a powerful option that wouldn't take up a ton of space in my living room.

This isn't the first Beam soundbarβ€”that would be the Sonos Beam Gen 1, which came out in 2018. That was the first smart soundbar to support both Google and Alexa voice assistants, as well as AirPlay. The Sonos Beam Gen 2 arrived in 2021, adding Atmos compatibility, eARC connectivity, NFC connectivity, and a better processor. The Sonos companion app also improved dramatically, making for a much better experience, adding features like Sonos TruePlay, which calibrates the speaker based on its environment.

The release of the bigger and more powerful Sonos Arc Ultra last year kicked the Beam Gen 2 off the top of Sonos' product list, but that just means you've got a better chance of scoring a good discount on a still excellent device. Its flat, tablet-like design (measuring 2.7 x 25.7 x 4.0 inches) makes it extremely compact, yet it still produces big sound (with Dolby Atmos audio support), as noted in PCMag's "excellent" review. If you want deep bass you'll need to add a Sonos subwoofer, but otherwise, this is a great replacement for your TV's built-in speakers.

This QLED TV Is an Incredible Value, and It's 40% Off Right Now

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

QLED TVs are, in my opinion, a perfect sweet spot between budget TVs and OLEDsβ€”they're a huge improvement in video quality without having to pay the thousands required for an OLED. And honestly, most people can't tell the difference between an OLED and a QLED anyway, but most people see the difference between a budget TV and a solid QLED.

If you're looking for a steal on one of the best QLED TVs of 2025, the Hisense 65" Class U8GQ is $898.32 (originally $1,498) after a 40% discount, bringing it down to its lowest price ever, according to price-tracking tools. The other, bigger sizes are also seeing great discounts right now.

The Hisense U8QG is a mid-tier QLED TV that was released in April of 2025, and it's in my list of the best budget QLEDs of that year. It's a solid, well-rounded TV that will work well in bright rooms and excels for watching sports, movies, and playing video games. The brightness, black levels, and colors are its most impressive specs, as PCMag noted in its "excellent" review.

This TV also has a Hi-View AI Engine Pro processor, HDMI 2.1 bandwidth on all three ports, and a USB-C display port that PC gamers can use to play directly on the TV. It can handle 4K resolution at a 165Hz refresh rate and 1080p at 288Hz. It also has support for arguably the most important HDR formats: Dolby Vision and HDR10+. The TV OS, Google TV, is my personal favorite because it lets you seamlessly cast your phone or computer directly to the TV. It also supports voice controls.

This Garmin's Battery Can Last 10 Days, and It's $100 Off

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Garmin smartwatches have been gaining popularity in recent years for health-conscious and sports enthusiasts alike. Their Garmin Venu 3S, which was released in late 2023, is one of their premium watches that works great for beginners and more advanced athletes thanks to their user-friendly fitness tracking. You can get the 41mm Venu 3S for $349.99 (originally $449.99), the lowest price it has been, according to price-tracking tools.

The Venus 3S offers Android and Apple users a long battery life of up to 10 days (depending on your use and settings), 8GB of storage, a built-in GPS to track your activity, and a 1.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen. This 41mm size is perfect for people with smaller-sized wrists.

The Venus 3S is user-friendly, with three buttons and a touchscreen to navigate its features and avoid accidentally stopping your workout. The smartwatch has a speaker and microphone so you can take your calls directly from your watch. You can also use it to listen to its guided meditation feature or your playlists from Spotify and Amazon music; just keep in mind there is no LTE support, so you'll need to be within Bluetooth or wifi range of your phone to use these features.

If you're looking for a smartwatch to do trail runs, this smartwatch is not it, since there's no trail-run feature. However, you can get stats on your recovery time after workouts as well as the benefits of your training, a morning report of your health status, heart rate monitoring, stress tracking, on-screen workouts you can follow along, their Body Battery Energy Monitoring that shows you how much or little energy you might have, as well as a Sleep Coach feature that helps you improve your sleep.

This Samsung Surround Sound System Is 58% Off Right Now

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Surround sound systems are not cheap, especially if you want to go for flagship options like Bose, Sonos, or JBL. However, one brand offers a complete surround sound system that is still on-par with the rest as far as quality, but offers a much better bang for your buckβ€”that's Samsung's HW-Q990F/ZC, and right now it's 58% off on Woot for a new system. You can get it for $847.99 (originally $1,997.99), the lowest price I've seen it on sale.

The Q990F is a 2025 upgrade on the Q990D, which Samsung released in 2023. It's not much different except for a few tweaks that were the biggest cons on reviews. The Q990F added HDMI 2.1 with support for 4K at 120 Hz passthrough and VRR, which is ideal for serious gamers who want the lowest input lag possible. Samsung also added Wireless Dolby Atmos with compatible Samsung TVs, meaning you can have uncompressed Atmos audio without needing to hook up the HDMI cable to the eARC, sending it over wifi instead. The subwoofer was also improved with a tighter, more controlled sound. And of course, the overall tuning and audio technology are also better overall.

The Q990F comes with a soundbar, subwoofer, and two rear speakers, and it's honestly the best surround sound system at this price that you can get. As you can read in PCMag's "outstanding" review, the system is powerful, elegant, and has impressive surround-sound audio. There is also a useful companion app that brings all of the settings and any tweaks that you can think of needing right on your phone.

The Premium Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra Is on Sale for $368 Right Now

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Samsung announced the Galaxy Watch Ultra in the summer of 2024, and then refreshed it last August with double the storage and new color options. As we all know, older versions get big discounts, and if the extra storage and colors aren't a big deal to you, you could be in a great position to get a flagship Samsung smartwatch at a big discount. The 2024 Bespoke Edition 47mm LTE Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra is selling for $368.39, originally $649.99 at launch. This is the lowest price it has reached, according to price-tracking tools. The Galaxy Watch Ultra emphasizes outdoor and exercise features, but it's much cheaper than other premium fitness watches like the Apple Watch Ultra.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra excels over other watches in one key aspect: its outdoorsy features. If you're an avid hiker or an athlete who spends long hours outdoors, it's a great choice. Like any good rugged watch, this one is tough, made out of Grade 4 titanium, and has an IP68 water- and dust-resistant rating. You can also take it up high altitudes (up to 9,000 meters) and it can withstand up to 10ATM of pressure (about 330 feet underwater). You also get a built-in siren in case of emergencies. The screen is a 1.47-inch Super AMOLED display, brighter than previous Samsung AMOLED smartwatches. The only downside is that it comes in just one sizeβ€”47mm.

The watch runs WearOS from Samsung and comes with 32GB of storage. The 590mAh battery is one of the best for its price point, making it perfect for prolonged outdoor use. If you don't use any power-saving modes, it'll last 60 hours, but it can go up to 100 hours if you're conservative.

One of the new features this watch brings is AI-based health metrics and advanced sleep tracking, which you can read more about in PCMag's "excellent" review. If you're looking for a more budget-friendly and smaller option for more general use, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 at $256 (originally $379.99) is a great option.

Amazon Prime Members Can Get Two Free E-Books in February

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

You can get thousands of free e-books over the course of 2026 if you know whereβ€”and whenβ€”to look. All year long, Amazon is offering free Kindle e-books to readers, with new opportunities popping up every month. In February, Prime members canΒ get two free Kindle e-booksΒ from Amazon's First Reads program, one of them being this month's bonus short read.

What is Amazon's First Reads?

Amazon First Reads is a program aimed at Prime members that offers early access to new e-books across many genres, as curated by First Reads editors (one of many Prime Member benefits). Prime members can choose to download one free e-book every month from a rotating listβ€”though some months that number is bumped up to two, usually with a free short novelβ€”and non-members get them for a discounted price. These e-books can be read on any compatible Kindle device or via the free Kindle app.

How to get your free Amazon Kindle e-books in February

Go to the First Reads landing page to see the full list of e-books available this month. Once you find a book that seems interesting, click the "Shop Now" button from the First Reads landing page. Make sure you’re not being redirected to the Kindle or Amazon mobile application, because you won't see the free book option there; instead, use your internet browser on your phone or computer.

Make sure you’re not clicking the ”Pre-order for...” button, as that will direct you to pay; instead, click the β€œRead for Free” or the "Buy Now with 1-Click" button under the "First Reads" banner on the book's Amazon page (don't worry, you won't be charged). This will send the e-book directly to the Kindle linked to your Amazon account.

You can see what it should look like from the screenshot below.

Screenshot of Amazon page on phone from the web browser showing the "read for free" button.

You’ll know you did it right when you see a β€œThanks, [your name]!” order summary indicating the e-book is being auto-delivered to the Kindle Cloud Reader.

Free Amazon Kindle e-books available in February 2026

This month, you can choose one from nine new Kindle e-books, plus this month's short read. Amazon notes the genre for each of the books above the title, offering a quick way to narrow down your options. (If you hover over the "See Editor Notes" under the "Shop Now" button, you'll be able to read a short description from the First Reads editor who picked the book.)

Here are your options for February 2026. You can choose one of these nine e-books, plus get this month's bonus short read, Leave It Up To Love: A Short Story:

This budget-friendly Asus Gaming Monitor is 25% off

The Asus ROG Strix XG27UCS is $337.99 (originally launched at $499) after a 25% discount. This is the lowest price it has ever been.

The Meta Quest 3S Batman bundle is $250

The 128GB Meta Quest 3S Batman: Arkham Shadow Bundle is on sale for $249 (originally $299.99), the lowest price it has been. The bundle includes the Batman game (with a list price of $49.99) and a three-month trial subscription to Meta Horizon+ that's normally $7.99 a month. Lifehacker staff writer Stephen Johnson has tested both the 3S and the Quest 3 VR headsets to decide which of the two is better, and the Meta Quest 3S was his winnerβ€”you can read a more in-depth review of the Quest 3S here.

This Sony soundbar is over 50% off

The Sony HT-Z9F is down to $419.99 on Woot (originally $899.99). It’s a 3.1-channel soundbar, meaning it has left, right, and center speakers built in, plus a wireless subwoofer. The center channel is used for dialogue, which makes those whispering lines in movies much easier to decipher. The wireless sub will give you that punchy feel when explosions go off, or you want to listen to some bass-heavy hits. A premium experience for less than half the price.

The Nothing Smartwatch with ChatGPT is $45

Last summer, Nothing released its newest smartwatch, the CMF Watch 3 Pro, which incorporates AI features powered by ChatGPT, and you can currently pick it up at a major discount. Originally $99, you can get the CMF Watch 3 Pro for $44.99 at Wootβ€”a 65% discount. The catch is that it's only available at that price in the light green color.

Shokz bone conduction headphones for $90

Shokz is one of the best brandsβ€”if not the best brandβ€”making bone conduction headphones right now. At the high end of Shokz's offerings are the OpenRun Pro 2 headphonesβ€”but the original OpenRun headphones are also great, and they're currently discounted to $89.94 (originally $129.95); that's the lowest price they've been.

My favorite Beats headphones are more than 50% Off

Beats headphones are well-known for their style and seamless compatibility with Apple devices. Right now, the brand's flagship headphones, the Beats Studio Pro, are on sale for $169.95 (originally $349.99), the second-lowest price they have been.

The Hisense U6 and U8 Series TVs are up to 40% off

If you haven't kept up with TV advances over the years, the Hisense U6 Series is a great example of how much you can now get for a "budget" price. This QLED Mini LED TV isn't quite at the level of an OLED TV, but it makes up for it in affordability. And right now, the 65-inch Hisense Class U6 Series TV is $547.99 (originally $847.99), and the Hisense 65-inch Class U8GQ is $898.32 (originally $1,498). Both TVs are down to their lowest prices ever after a 40% discount.

The Razer Kishi Ultra gaming controller is 53% off

Serious phone gamers likely already know about Razer's Kishi Ultra. This gaming controller for phones and iPads is built to take your gaming on your phone to the next level, and it’s currently $69.99 (originally $149.99) on Amazon, the lowest price to date. It fits most phones, even with cases, and can expand wide enough to hold an iPad mini, which gives it more range than controllers built only for phones.

An Anker portable power station for $400 off

This winter is looking rough, with one of the biggest winter storms recently hitting nearly half the U.S. Many people are without power, especially those in cities without the proper infrastructure to take on record-breaking winter storms. A power station is a great device to keep the lights running in a pinchβ€”and the standalone Anker SOLIX C1000 is $397 (originally $799.99). The same model with solar panels is going for up to 59% off right now. Mashable voted the Anker SOLIX C1000 the best one for most people.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra is $368

Samsung announced the Galaxy Watch Ultra in the summer of 2024, and then refreshed it last August with double the storage and new color options. As we all know, older versions get big discounts, and if the extra storage and colors aren't a big deal to you, you could be in a great position to get a flagship Samsung smartwatch at a big discount. The 2024 Bespoke Edition 47mm LTE Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra is selling for $368.39, originally $649.99 at launch. This is the lowest price it has reached. The Galaxy Watch Ultra emphasizes outdoor and exercise features, and it's much cheaper than other premium fitness watches like the Apple Watch Ultra.
